Saturday 17th March - CANN Social - 2.00-6.00pm, Voluntary Action Centre, 7 Mansfield Road.

Monday 30th April - Living Within a Carbon Budget - 7.30pm, the Council House, Nottingham. The first in the Beyond the Basics lecture series, organised by Health In Your Environment and supported by CANN. The speakers will be Dr Alice Bows from the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research and Jonathan Harris from the Directorate of Public Health - East Midlands. Wednesday 6th June - Climate Change with Oil and Gas Depletion - 7.30pm, The Nottingham Mechanics. The second of the Beyond the Basics lecture series, organised by Health In Your Environment and supported by CANN. Speakers will be independendent energy consultant Paul Mobbs and Brian Davey, member of Feasta (Foundation for the Economics of Sustainability).The chair will be Prof Seamus Garvey from the University of Nottingham. 14th July to 2nd October - Cut the Carbon march - organised by Christian Aid, this will travel from Belfast to London, taking in key locations along the way. Nottingham tie-ins to be confirmed. Further info here.
